The G&G fabrication area covers a total area of 170,000 m² with crane service, with the workshops accounting for approximately 40,000 m² of that space. They are fully equipped to handle all grades of carbon and stainless steel, heat resistant and low temperature materials, special alloys, clad and weld overlaid materials such as Inconel, Monel and Hastelloy.

The plate preparation bays have state-of-the-art machinery for oxy-fuel and plasma cutting, rolling, and weld preparation of plates with a wall thickness of up to 200 mm. The large assembly bays are equipped with important overhead cranes, turntables and rotators and are efficiently organized in dedicated job shops. The most suitable welding techniques and equipment are applied for every weld. SAW, GMAW, FCAW, TIG, GTAW, PAW, ESW and SMAW are common techniques for G&G’s work force.

The integrated mechanical engineering, material management, quality control, important stress-relieving furnaces for PWHT and the large surface treatment and paint shop guarantee a full in-house service at the highest standards.

G&G’s facilities are located alongside the Brussels-Antwerp sea canal with direct access to the Port of Antwerp and other seaports. Our own heavy transport means (SPMTs), quay and ro-ro facility enable the loading of items up to 2,000 tons, 150 m length and 20 m diameter onto barges or even directly onto sea-going vessels to ship them worldwide.
