G&G is a world leader in the engineering and fabrication of heavy walled, large sized and complex steel constructions for both onshore and offshore applications. Our
state-of-the-art facilities with direct sea access, our specialized competency, and our value-driven way of using our customers' specific needs as our principle focus make G&G an ideal partner for the fabrication of the supporting foundations structures for offshore wind farms.
G&G is fully equipped to handle a huge variety of grades of steel. The plate preparation bays use state-of-the-art machinery for oxy-fuel and plasma cutting, weld preparation, and rolling of plates with a wall thickness of up to 200 mm. The enormous assembly bays are equipped with extremely robust heavy-duty overhead cranes, turntables, and rotators and are efficiently organized with optimized logistics for the fabrication of monopiles, transition pieces, and jackets for offshore wind farm foundations. Only the most suitable and efficient welding techniques and equipment are applied. G&G’s renown and success is also based on its core competency in mechanical engineering, material and supply chain management, and quality assurance and control. Our advanced stress-relieving furnaces and the large surface treatment and paint shop facilities guarantee a full in-house service of the very highest standards.
G&G’s facilities are located in Willebroek, Belgium, alongside the Brussels/Antwerp Sea Canal with direct access to the Port of Antwerp and all of Europe’s offshore locations. Our heavy transport means (SPMTs), quay, and ro-ro facility enable the loading of items up to 2,000 tons, 150 meters in length, and 20 meters in diameter onto sea-going barges and vessels.
G&G is the industry standard for durable and ethical business. G&G is committed to being the preferred partner — in the first
instance — for every one of our customers, employees and other stakeholders.
